December 5, 2011 - ECHL (ECHL)
South Carolina Stingrays News Release

The South Carolina Stingrays battled the Kalamazoo Wings on Friday and Saturday at the North Charleston Coliseum for a record of 0-2-0-0. Friday was Teacher Appreciation Night and Nature Night as the Stingrays fought back from two two-goal deficits, but could not overcome the K-Wings, falling 5-3. Defensemen Nick Tabisz (1g, 1a) Zach Tarkir (2a) and forward Pierre-Luc O'Brien (1g, 1a) each had two points. The Stingrays celebrated their annual Teddy Bear Toss game, Charleston County Recycling Awareness Night and skated on green ice Saturday, but the K-Wings slipped away with a 2-1 victory. Forward David de Kastrozza's goal in the third period sent over 3,000 teddy bears to the ice.
