Royals, Berks County Combined Veterans and U.S. Army Reserves Join Forces For Clothing Drive

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, the Berks County Combined Veterans and the U.S. Army Reserves 733rd Transportation Unit will join forces at the Royals' game this Sunday, December 11, 2011 (4:05 pm opening faceoff) for a clothing drive to benefit U.S. military veterans and their families. Fans are encouraged to bring all types of clothing items, but there is a particular need for winter coats and thermal underwear. Please note that all fans donating clothing items at the Sovereign Center prior to the Royals game this Sunday will receive a buy-one, get-one free voucher to the Royals game against the Trenton Titans on Friday, December 30.

The Royals return to action on Thursday (December 8, 2011 @ 7:05 pm), when the team will face the Trenton Titans at the Sovereign Center. Select draft beer will be just $2.00 that night. The game night broadcast will start at 7:05 pm with the Red Robin Gourmet Burger Pre-Game Warm-up Show on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Reading. Streaming audio is available free of charge courtesy of America One through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com.
