Wednesday, November 30: Gwinnett - 6 at Florida - 3
Gwinnett scored four third period goals to take a 6-3 victory over Florida. The game featured 80 penalty minutes, 68 of which came in a physical third period.
Friday, December 2: Gwinnett - 3 at Florida - 4 OT
Gwinnett rallied from a three goal deficit in the final ten minutes of the third period, including Bryan Brutlag's game tying goal with 37 seconds to force overtime. However, Florida's Matt Beca sealed the game with 1:33 remaining in the bonus session to give his team the win. David Rutherford and Ryan Donald each finished with 2 assists.
Saturday, December 3: Gwinnett - 3 at Florida - 4 OT
The Everblades took a 2-0 lead, but Gwinnett rallied for the second consecutive night to tie the game at two after two periods. The Gladiators took the lead on a goal by Andy Brandt at 9:22 of the period. Florida's Scott Pitt countered at 16:37 of the period to tie the game at three to force overtime. David Rutherford sealed the win on a power play goal in overtime to lift the Blades to their second consecutive 4-3 overtime win over Gwinnett. Rutherford's goal was his second of the game. The win pulls the Blades to within three points of the first place Gladiators.

Mike McKenzie had a seven game point scoring streak snapped on Saturday. McKenzie posted 11 pts (4g, 7a) during that stretch from 11/18-12/3.

David Rutherford posted three goals and two assists this past week in three games vs. Gwinnett. Rutherford played a hand in both overtime goals for Florida this week, netting the game winner on Saturday (12/3) and had the lead assist on Matt Beca's overtime winner on Friday (12/2).
"Special" Teams - Florida's third ranked power play Leads the ECHL in power play goals scored with 24, and has registered a power play goal in 16 of 22 games this season.
Transactions
On Saturday (12/3) forward Philip-Michael Devos was recalled by the Norfolk Admirals (AHL). Devos notched an assist on the game winning goal in Norfolk's 2-1 victory over Adirondack Saturday night.
