The South Carolina Stingrays closed their regular-season home schedule on Friday at North Charleston Coliseum falling to the Reading Royals 4-2 for a week record of 0-1-0. Stingrays defenseman Johann Kroll netted his third goal of the season and forward Nikita Kashirsky buried a power-play marker after returning to the lineup for the first time since January 17. Forward Trent Campbell earned an assist to push his assist streak to four games and goaltender Shane Connelly stopped 16 of 19 Royals shots.
