
Stingrays Release Klaren

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach Cail MacLean announced today that the team has released defenseman Nick Klaren.
Klaren, 25, appeared in 18 games with the Stingrays scoring one goal and four assists for five points. The North St. Paul, MN native joined the Stingrays after appearing in 30 games for the Mississippi Surge of the SPHL netting 19 points (5g, 14a). Prior to turning pro, the rookie defenseman played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin Stout scoring 67 points (23g, 44a) in 108 games. Klaren helped lead the Blue Devils to the Division III Frozen Four in Lake Placid, NY.
