If you have purchased âPay for Play' tickets you can pick them up at the Stingrays front office, or there will be a special will-call table outside the handicap entrance on Monday prior to the game.

RED WAVE ALERT!!!
Attention Stingray fans, as the first home playoff game approaches, the South Carolina Stingrays are seeking everyone's help in creating the RED WAVE. We are asking that fans wear red to the games to show your support as the team embarks on its journey to the Kelly Cup. Break out your red jerseys, t-shirts and hats and anything else you can find and let's create a menacing atmosphere for any team that comes to play the Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum!
For those fans that don't have anything red, the Stingrays will be offering a special Kelly Cup Playoffs t-shirt at the merchandise stand during the games for only $12.00. Anyone who would like to pick up one of these shirts before the game can call Todd Merton at 744-2248 x1212 to preorder your shirt.

Second Season Sub-plots
* The South Carolina Stingrays have their backs against the wall, as they need to win tonight in order to stay alive in the playoffs. * To access the complete game notes for tonight's game, click here. * The Rays are now 51-47 all time in the playoffs. After their overtime loss on Saturday, they are 9-11 all time in overtime in the playoffs. * For up to date Stingrays coverage you can visit the Stingrays website or Andrew Miller's blog Rays the Roof. * Stingrays playoff tickets can be purchased at the box office or through Ticketmaster with upper level costing $15, lower level $17 and riser level $20. The Rest on the Quest
* In defeating the Mississippi Sea Wolves last night, the Texas Wildcatters eliminated Mississippi from the playoffs and moved on to the second round. * All other series in the Southern Division Playoffs are completed, with Texas, Gwinnett and Columbia moving on to the next round. Only the Stingrays and Lynx series is still on going. * Outside the Southern Division, the Utah Grizzlies took a 1-0 lead in their best of seven series against the Fresno Falcons. Las Vegas took a 2-1 lead over Stockton after their 3-2 win last night. And late last night the Alaska Aces complete their four game sweep of the defending champion Idaho Steelheads. * For all the up to date information regarding the Kelly Cup Playoffs, click here for the ECHL web site.
Blast From the Past
By making the playoffs this season, the South Carolina Stingrays have now made the playoffs a record 14 times. They had made the postseason 13 consecutive times from 1994-2006, which is also an ECHL record. The Stingrays now have one more playoff appearance than the Toledo Storm, Dayton Bombers and Johnstown Chiefs who each have 13. The only other teams with more than 10 appearances are the Charlotte Checkers and the Hampton Roads Admirals who have 11 each.
