
Jackals Bolstered By Return Of May And Kudelka

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that center Scott May has been returned on loan from the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League while defenseman Tomas Kudelka was reassigned to Elmira from Binghamton (AHL) by the Ottawa Senators (NHL). Both players are expected to be in the line-up Tuesday night for Game Three of the North Division semifinals against the Reading Royals. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. at First Arena.
May, 26, appeared in 38 games this season with Binghamton as he scored six goals and added 14 assists for 20 points. Prior to signing an American Hockey League contract with the Senators February 3rd, May had an earlier stint in the AHL with Manitoba. In six contests with the Moose, May picked up a pair of assists for two points.
An impact player with the Jackals in very limited action, the fourth year pro posted 15 points in just 11 games with Elmira this year. May scored five goals with 10 assists (6 on the power play) with the Jackals this year.
Kudelka, 21, will fortify the Elmira blue line and stimulate a power play that has scored just once in ten tries in the first two playoff games. The rookie defenseman tallied five goals and 14 assists for 19 points with the Jackals, including three power play goals and three game-winners. In 35 games with Binghamton, Kudelka picked up one goal and one assist for two points and 17 penalty minutes.

The Elmira Jackals continue their pursuit of the 2008 Kelly Cup championship Tuesday night on home ice against the Reading Royals in Game #3 of the North Division semifinals.
