Falcons Donate $ 17,451.75 to the Girl Scouts

Fresno, CA...The Fresno Falcons lost Game 1 of the Kelly Cup National Conference Quarterfinals 6-1 to the Utah Grizzlies Sunday night giving Utah a 1-0 edge in the best of seven series. Game 2 is tonight at 7pm at the Save Mart Center. Tickets are on sale at the Save Mart Center and Ticketmaster. For more information call the Falcons after 9am at 559-485-PUCK!
During the pregame ceremony on Sunday the Falcons presented the Girl Scouts Golden Valley Council with a Girl Scouts at the Rink check in the amount of $17,451.75. The Second Annual Girl Scouts at the Rink with the Falcons was held on March 29th at the Save Mart Center. The majority of this donation was raised during the post game jersey auction in which fans bid on the Fresno Falcons Eye Q Shooter Jerseys featuring the Girl Scouts logo. The Girl Scouts also sold hundreds of tickets and earned donations off of each ticket they sold.
The John Tull Man of the Year on-line Sports Auction to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is still active until 6pm Tuesday, April 15th.
