Stingrays Gameday: Stingrays End Home Stand Tonight Against Nailers

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays end an eight-game home stand tonight against the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the fourth of six scheduled meetings between the two teams this season.

The Stingrays begin a seven-game road trip starting Friday, January 29 against the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Arena. Note of the Night: 5 for 27 Stingrays rookie forward Rob Ricci has five points (3g, 2a) in his last four games and ranks fifth among ECHL rookies with 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points.

Standing Tall Stingrays goaltender Shane Connelly is 6-0-1 including a shutout in his last six starts for the Stingrays.

Bruess Helps Shorthanded Stingrays Stingrays rookie Trevor Bruess is sitting on a four-game point streak with four goals and five assists and on a three-game assist streak with five assist. His streak includes a hat trick scored on January 17 against the Gwinnett Gladiators.
