Stingers to Take on Huskies Monday Night

WILLMAR, MN - The Willmar Stingers' first playoff game matchup has been set and will face the Duluth Huskies in the first round game Monday, August 10th. First pitch for the game is scheduled for 7:05 pm at Bill Taunton Stadium.
The Stingers are guaranteed to play Game 1 of the North Division Playoffs at home on Monday, August 10th. Great seats still remain for this game and can be purchased online via www.willmarstingers.com, by calling 320-222-2010, or visiting the Stingers ticket office located at Bill Taunton Stadium from 10 am - 5 pm.
The Northwoods League announced a new playoff format for this season that will increase the teams participating in the playoffs from four to eight. The two division winners will face the next two teams with the best overall records in their respective divisions.
The winners of Monday's games will advance to another one game elimination Tuesday night, with the home-field advantage going to the team with the best overall record.
