Sarnia Sting General Manager, Nick Sinclair is pleased to announce that Sarnia native, Franco Sproviero has agreed to terms on a Standard Player Agreement with the Hockey Club.
Selected 141st overall in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection, Sproviero is having a strong rookie campaign with the Lambton Shores Predators, registering 7 goals and 24 assists (31 points) in 32 games with the club.
Sproviero made his OHL debut with the Sting on January 2nd against London. The versatile defenceman is poised with a high hockey IQ and the ability to contribute offensively. Going forward, Sproviero will add to the club's depth on the blue line.
