
Battalion Top IceDogs in Overtime

The Niagara IceDogs lost 4-3 in overtime to the North Bay Battalion Friday night at the Meridian Centre.
Brendan Perlini opened the scoring for the IceDogs with his 11th goal of the season, and third in his last three games. Kyle Wood tied it at 11:16 of the first with a power play goal.
The IceDogs scored the only goal of the second period, when Billy Jenkins redirected a shot past Battalion goaltender Jake Smith.
At 1:34 of the third period, Hampus Olsson tied the game when he put a rebound past IceDogs goaltender Brent Moran, who made 34 saves. Graham Knott restored the IceDogs lead with his 15th of the season before Mike Amadio tied the game at 3-3 with 42 seconds remaining.
Ryan Kujawinski scored in overtime to give the Battalion the win.
The IceDogs are right back at it tomorrow night when they host the Kingston Frontenacs at the Meridian Centre.
