Sting Home to Bulls & 67's
October 21, 2014 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Sarnia Sting News Release
The Sting deserved a better fate on Sunday against the Belleville Bulls, allowing a goal with 29 second remaining in the game and falling by a score of 3-2. The Sting will look to respond this weekend when the Bulls visit the RBC Centre on Friday night. Sarnia outshot Belleville 52-33 in the first game of the season series and will look to apply the pressure at home and pick up a valuable 2 points.
The Sting take on the Ottawa 67's at the RBC Centre on Saturday night, the last game on home ice before a 5-game road stint. The Sting will be looking to continue the pattern of scoring by committee, and take advantage of a 67's team that likely won't include former first overall pick, Travis Konecny.
Saturday's game is the annual Halloween game, sponsored by Value Village and will feature a first intermission Trick-or-treat parade. All kids are encouraged to wear their costumes and come on down to ice level to show off their costumes during the first intermission.
