Owen Sound Attack News Release

After four straight games at home, the Owen Sound Attack are set to kick off a four game road stand this weekend.

The Attack will travel down Highway 21 to Sarnia for a Friday night match up with the Sting, the 2nd meeting of the year between the teams. With puck drop set for 7:05pm at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre, the Attack will be looking to avenge a 4-3 overtime loss to the Sting earlier this season.

Owen Sound was victorious in their last outing, a 2-1 win over Saginaw on Sunday, Nov. 15; a win that pushed the Attack to a record of 10-6-3-1, good for 24 points and 6th overall in the Western Conference.

Sarnia, also at 24 points on the year, sits in 5th place in an increasingly competitive West thanks to their 11-7-2-0 record.

The Attack will look to captain Santino Centorame to help them down the Sting. His seven goals and 11 assists on the year give him 18 points, three more than Sarnia's leading scorer Nikita Korostelev.

Following Friday's tilt, Owen Sound will head to Windsor for a game against the Spitfires on Saturday night. Windsor is 2nd in the Western Conference thanks to a 14-4-3-0 record, good for 31 points on the year.

Puck drop at the WFCU Centre is also set for 7:05pm, and will see the Spits look to avenge an Attack 4-3 overtime win from Oct. 18 of this year.

Both games can be watched live on Rogers Local 53 or listened to on Kia of Owen Sound Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio on 560 CFOS.

The Attack won't be at home again until Saturday, Nov. 28 when they host the London Knights in their annual Bears In Blue game.

Tickets for Bears In Blue are in high demand, and fans are encouraged to purchase them now at the DJ's Furniture Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com, or by calling 519-371-7452.
