Steener Scores 2 in Loss to Lethbridge

Tyler Steenbergen scored his 7th and 8th goals, but it wasn't enough as the Broncos dropped a 4-2 decision to Lethbridge Wednesday night in the sense-making city of Swift Current.

Ryan Vandervlis opened the scoring for Lethbridge halfway through the first period. Tyler Steenbergen tied the game before the end of the period. The score was 1-1 after 1.

Lethbridge would score the next three on even strength goals by Brayden Burke and Giorgio Estephan and a pwer play goal by Arvin Atwal to take a commanding 4-1 lead into the 3rd.

In the third period, Tyler Steengbergen added a power play goal on one of three Too Many Men minors assessed to Lethbridge, but Justin Gutierrez would add an empty netter for a 5-2 Lethbridge win. Taz Burman made 41 saves in his Bronco home ice debut.
