October 19, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads today announced that Britt Talbert will return as "Voice of the Steelheads" for the 2004-05 season on ESPN Radio 1350 - The Ticket. Talbert will enter into his third season doing play-by-play for all 72 home and away games. He will be joined at home by color commentators Mark Broz and John MacMillan.

As well, Talbert will host the Bud Light Idaho Steelheads Sports Talk Show every Monday through Friday, 6:00-7:00 p.m. on The Ticket, beginning this week.

Talbert said, "Last season was a dream come true, because I know a lot of broadcasters spend many years calling games and don't ever get to experience a championship. These last two years have been very exciting and I look forward to being the voice for the fans as the Steelheads defend their national championship."

In addition to the radio broadcasts, the Steelheads will once again team up with B2 Networks to provide live Webcasts for games. To view the games, fans can go to the Idaho Steelheads website at www.idahosteelheads.com, and click on the link. The cost will be $6.00 per view.

The Steelheads open its second season in the ECHL at home in defense of the Kelly Cup on October 22nd against the Alaska Aces. Season tickets, Flex-Plans and Mini-Plans starting at $150 are currently available by calling (208) 383-0080. Individual tickets are available at the Bank of America Centre Box Office, by visiting any Select-A-Seat outlet, by calling 331-TIXS (8497), or through the Steelheads website by logging on to www.idahosteelheads.com. Prices range from $7.00 to $28.00.
