
Everblades announce new radio broadcaster

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades have announced that they have hired Kevin Reiter as the team's new Director of Broadcasting & Public Relations. The hiring comes after the team's previous broadcaster, Dan Guenther left to pursue a career in real estate.
Reiter comes to the 'Blades after spending three years behind the microphone for the now defunct Roanoke Express of the ECHL. The 32-year-old native of Medford, NJ is entering his seventh season as a sports broadcaster. In addition to broadcasting hockey for the Express, Reiter also served as the voice of the Carolina League's Salem Avalanche Baseball Club in Salem, VA from 2000-2003. The former ECHL All-Star Game broadcaster began his career in sports radio in 1998 with the Wilmington (DE) Blue Rocks Baseball Club, also of the Carolina League. The 2004-05 season will be Reiter's eighth overall in professional sports.
