Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
FLORENCE, SC â The Pee Dee Pride announced today the area schools that have received Pride season tickets through the team's Adopt-a-School Program.
Introduced as a new program this season, the Pride's Adopt-a-School Program allows individuals or businesses to purchase season tickets that are donated to local non-profit organizations. This season, through the generosity of the following businesses and individuals, area school students will be able to enjoy the excitement of Pee Dee Pride hockey.
· Senator Hugh Leatherman â Savannah Grove Elementary School
· Colortyme Rent-to-Own (Bob Kogler) â The Byrnes School
· The Markette (Lex West) â North Hartsville Elementary School and Carolina Elementary School
· Cooper Funeral Home â Latta area schools
"The Pride organization is delighted that these individuals and businesses have stepped forward to purchase tickets for these students," Pride Chief Operating Officer Debbie Hyler said. "Even though the season is just about ready to begin, there is still time for other businesses or individuals to purchase tickets for area non-profit organizations so that more people can enjoy the excitement of Pride hockey."
Opening Weekend 2004 is right around the corner!
