Stars Return Defenseman Hubert Labrie to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has reassigned defenseman Hubert Labrie to the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.

Labrie, 22, is in his third pro season after being signed by Dallas as an undrafted free agent to a three-year entry-level contract on September 18, 2009. The Victoriaville, Quebec native has played in 90 career pro games, including 60 AHL games for the Stars, with six points (2 goals, 4 assists) and 63 penalty minutes. Labrie has played in two ECHL games for the Steelheads this season.

The Stars complete their Stars & Stripes Military Appreciation Weekend presented by Sport Clips tonight as they again face the Milwaukee Admirals for a 7:00 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center. Tonight's game is another Texas Lottery Lucky Row Night, a Coke Zero Family Four Pack Night and is the Stars & Stripes t-shirt giveaway presented by Sport Clips.
