
IceHogs Take on Wild for Second Straight Night

IRockford, Ill.- After winning game one of the two-game set 3-1 on Friday, the Rockford IceHogs will face off against the Iowa Wild at 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center for game two. The IceHogs are 3-2-0-0 this season in the second game of a back-to-back comes tonight.
The first 2,500 fans to the BMO will receive a whoopee cushion courtesy of Ferrellgas. The game will also celebrate Veterans Day by honoring current and former military personnel with free tickets to the game. Defenseman Bobby Shea scored the first goal of his AHL career last night against the Wild and came an assist short of the Gordie Howe hat trick after receiving his first fighting major. The IceHogs broke their season long, four-game losing streak with last night's win and now sit at 8-6-1-0 and second in the Midwest Division.
Left Wing Erik Haula kept his team lead for points at eight (3g-5a) last night when he recorded an assist, along with former IceHogs defenseman Brian Connelly, on winger Jason Zucker's goal. The three skaters that combined for the goal are the Wild's three leading scorers.
Tonight is the second of 10 meetings on the year between Rockford and Iowa, including five at the BMO.
