
Stars Re-Assign Scorer To Grizzlies

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies National Hockey League (NHL) affiliate, the Dallas Stars, announced today that they have assigned right wing Jon Sim to the Grizzlies. Sim was re-called by Dallas on October 10.
Sim, 25, played 31 games with Utah last season scoring 21 goals and adding six assists with 63 penalty minutes. At the time of his call-up to Dallas last season, Sim was leading the American Hockey League (AHL) in goals scored (21). In 26 games with Dallas last season, Sim scored three goals and had 10 penalty minutes.
The 5-10, 190-pound New Glasgow, Nova Scotia native has played in 73 career NHL games scoring nine goals and adding six assists with 38 penalty minutes. Sim has also played in 11 NHL playoff games with the Stars scoring a goal and recording six assists.
