Anchorage, Alaska â The Anchorage Aces have made individual game tickets available for sale to the general public beginning Thursday, October 17th at Noon.
Single game tickets, beginning with the home opener October 25th against Idaho at Sullivan Arena at 7:00 p.m., have been set at $16 for lower mezzanine (entire lower bowl), $12 for lower balcony (rows 1-7), and $10 for upper balcony (rows 8 and up). Ticket outlets include the Sullivan Arena box office, all Carr's stores, the Aces main offices, located at 804 East 15th Ave., and online at www.tickets.com. Those fans who already have purchased full-season and mini-plan ticket packages may pick up their tickets tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. at the Aces main offices.
Season tickets, starting as low as $360, as well as mini-plans, starting as low as $88, are still on sale. For more information, please contact an Aces ticket representative at 258-ACES [2237]. In addition to Opening Night on the 25th, Anchorage will tangle with Idaho Saturday night the 26th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday the 27th at 5:00 p.m. The "Hanson Brothers" will help celebrate the opening weekend festivities by making appearances at Sullivan Arena during the Friday night and Sunday afternoon games.
The Aces travel to Bakersfield Saturday night before a Sunday afternoon battle with defending Taylor Cup champion Fresno. Anchorage posted a 4-3-1 record against the Condors last year to maintain a commanding 37-20-8 edge in the series, its best record against any of the league's existing teams. The Aces also enjoyed a winning record (4-3-1) against the Falcons during the 2001-02 campaign, including two wins in Fresno. Coverage begins Saturday night at 5:45 p.m. ADT and Sunday at 3:45 p.m. ADT. Jack Michaels handles the play-by-play duties for all games on KFQD 750 AM, presented by GCI.
