
Everblades Announce New TV Deal

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today that UPN8 will televise six regular season Everblades home games. The first game will be aired on Saturday, December 7th at 7:30 PM. The Everblades will conduct their Annual Teddy Bear Toss that night as well. The other five dates will be announced at a later date.
The Everblades Director of Marketing and "Voice of the Everblades" Mark Miller is excited to have teamed up with UPN8 for the upcoming year, "I am very pleased that we have renewed our relationship with WEVU-TV. Everblades fans will have the opportunity to watch uninterrupted commercial-free action during our telecasts. A sponsor banner will be placed at the top of the screen for an allotted time period allowing the uninterrupted coverage to take place, to my knowledge, this is a first in North American hockey television."
Barb Hagen, who is the Vice President-General Manager of Comcast Southwest Florida is glad to be partnered with the Everblades once again, "UPN8 is pleased that we are able to continue our relationship with the Everblades and deliver six commercial free games to Comcast and Time Warner customers."
The Everblades take on the Columbia Inferno in South Carolina this Thursday at 7:05 PM and travel to Pee Dee for two games against the Pride on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM. The Everblades host the Pee Dee Pride on Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th. The Blades home opener at TECO Arena is Friday, October 25th at 7:30 PM.
