Stars Open Three-Game Weekend vs. Musketeers

Lincoln, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars (19-14-1) will host the Sioux City Musketeers (15-15-1) for the third meeting between the teams this season on Thursday night in the Ice Box. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m.

The Stars are first in the Western Conference with 39 points and are looking to break a four-game losing streak. This weekend marks the second and final time this season the Stars will play three consecutive nights.

Sioux City is seventh in the West with 31 points. The Musketeers have dropped their last two games and are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games.

The season series between the Stars and Musketeers is 1-1-0. Sioux City won the previous meeting, 6-1, in the Tyson Events Center.

Last Game

Jan. 9 at Omaha - (3-2 OTL)

The Stars took their first overtime loss of the season as Lancers forward Mitch Perrault scored the game-winner with 25 seconds remaining in play. Ryan Jones and Patrick Polino scored for the Stars. Peyton Jones made 26 saves.

Stars Lately - The Stars are first in the Western Conference with 39 points, looking to snap a four-game losing streak and earn their first win of the month. Ludvig Hoff leads Lincoln with 10 goals and 22 assists.
