CCM USHL Players of the Week Named

January 14, 2016 - United States Hockey League (USHL) News Release


The United States Hockey League announced the CCM Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Week for Week 16 of the 2015-16 season. Tampa Bay Lightning goaltending prospect Kris Oldham won Goaltender of the Week, while second year players Logan Lambdin and Mitch Reinke earned Forward and Defenseman of the Week. CCM Hockey is the official equipment partner of the USHL.

Logan Lambdin - Bloomington Thunder

2 GP: 3 goals, 2 assists, +3 rating

Lambdin's five-point performance was a weekend of firsts. The three goals were a career high for Lambdin, and the first multi-goal performance of his USHL career. Lambdin's four points on the night were also a career high, and his fifth multi-point game this season. The uncommitted forward currently ranks second in team scoring with 19 points, besting his 18-point production from last season. Lambdin is in his second season with the Bloomington Thunder after skating one season with the Port Huron Fighting Falcons (NAHL), Belle Tire (T1EHL) and Victory Honda (T1EHL). Lambdin was selected in the 2014 USHL Phase II Draft in the 7th round, 113th overall.

Mitch Reinke - Cedar Rapids RoughRiders

3 GP: 1 goal, 3 assists, +5 rating

Reinke is on a three-game point streak after picking up a goal and three assists over the weekend. The active streak is tied for his longest this season. Thursday's two-point night included Reinke's third goal of the season. The Michigan Tech commit has 13 points in 27 games and is second on the RoughRiders for scoring by defensemen. Reinke scored 21 points in 55 games last season en route to being named to the 2014-15 USHL All-Rookie Second Team. Reinke was a 2012 USHL Phase I Draft pick of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the 6th round, 83rd overall.

Kris Oldham - Omaha Lancers

2-0-0-0, 1.89 GAA, .938 SV%

Oldham won back-to-back starts for the fourth time this season, beating the rival Lincoln Stars Friday and Saturday. After stopping a combined 60 shots over 127 minutes, Oldham is now 10-5-1-0 on the season with a 2.45 GAA and .922 SV%. Oldham ranks in the top-10 for Wins, Goals Against Average and Save Percentage among USHL goaltenders. The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Oldham in the 2015 NHL Draft in the 6th round, 153rd overall. Oldham played for the Kenai River Brown Bears (NAHL) and Alaska All Stars AAA team prior to the Omaha Lancers selecting the Anchorage, AK native in the 2013 USHL Phase II Draft in the 19th round, 277th overall. Oldham is currently committed to play college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
