
Stars Move March 21 Game to Vivint Arena

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today their home game on Tuesday, Mar. 21 against the Austin Spurs (San Antonio Spurs affiliate) will be played at Vivint Arena, the home of the Utah Jazz. The game, which is "Marvel Super Hero Night", was originally scheduled for the Maverik Center in West Valley City.
In collaboration with the night's theme, the Stars players will wear custom Marvel, "Wakanda" uniforms.The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a special edition Stars branded Marvel comic.Marvel characters and superheroes will also be in attendance.
This will be the fifth game the Stars will play at Vivint Arena during the 2022-23 campaign. The team previously hosted the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at Vivint Arena on Feb. 4 for a Junior Jazz Night that welcomed 8,409 fans to see the Stars battle the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
"Having our games at Vivint Arena provides a great opportunity for our fans and our players to experience NBA G League basketball under the bright lights of an NBA arena," said Salt Lake City Stars team president Jonathan Rinehart. "We have been bringing Stars basketball to Vivint Arena for several years now and it is always a special experience for everyone involved."
Stars games continue to be centered around affordable family entertainment. The University of Utah Health, the sponsor of the night, will have a Kids Zone available during the game, offering access to bounce houses, face painters and balloon artists on the floor of Vivint Arena. Additionally, there will be contests, giveaways, and an exclusive autograph session immediately following the game with select Stars players.
Free parking for the game will be available in the Park Place lot located adjacent to Vivint Arena on the corner of 300 West and South Temple.
