
Austin Spurs Acquire Galen Robinson Jr.

AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs today announced that they have acquired guard Galen Robinson Jr. from the available player pool.
Robinson Jr., 6-1/190, was most recently with the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Robinson Jr. played in nine games with the Chalon-Sur-Saone of the French LNB Pro B League this season where he averaged 9.6 points, 4.0 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 22.7 minutes a game. Prior to Chalon-Sur-Saone, Robinson Jr. played three seasons with Austin from 2019-2022 where he appeared in 65 games averaging 8.7 points, 4.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 22.9 minutes. Robinson Jr. earned the Jason Collier Sportsmanship Award while with Austin for the 2020-21 season.
The Houston, Texas native played 136 games at the University of Houston where he averaged 6.8 points, 4.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 27.7 minutes.
Robinson Jr. will be available tonight as the Spurs face the South Bay Lakers at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
