SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, will partner with the Junior Jazz this Saturday, Feb. 4, for a family-friendly basketball experience during their game against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at Vivint Arena, home of the Utah Jazz. Tip off will be at 7 p.m.

All current Junior Jazz participants and their families are invited to attend the free pregame activities, which will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The Junior Jazz game-night will feature bounce houses, balloon artists, face painters and a photo scavenger hunt with countless prizes to be handed out throughout the night. Jazz and Stars mascots, Bear and Buster, will be available for a meet and greet. The Salt Lake City Stars team will be available for autographs postgame.

Free parking for the Junior Jazz and all attendees will be available in the Park Place lot located adjacent to Vivint arena on the corner of 300 West and South Temple. Parking will be on a first-come-first serve basis.

Tickets for Friday night's game at Vivint Arena are still available at slcstars.com.

The Stars are being led by former Detroit Pistons guard and Lone Peak High School graduate, Frank Jackson. Jackson is coming off a game-high 30-point performance and has scored 20 points or more in five of the team's last six games.

The Stars are looking to sweep their homestand in the third and final game this week. After a 118-111 win against the Hustle, the Stars returned to claim a 135-105 victory over Memphis in the back-to-back set. Forward and tryout player, Stacy Davis recorded the first Triple-double in Stars history since 2017 (Sundiata Gaines) with 24 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Salt Lake City Stars are proud to partner with the Junior Jazz, the largest and longest-running youth basketball league in the NBA. A generational program now in its 40th year, Junior Jazz features more than 60,000 players with individual programs managed through more than 120 recreation centers in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona and Nevada.

The Stars partnered with the Junior Jazz for a similar event earlier this season on Jan. 19. The event welcomed 5,406 Stars fans to Vivint arena.
