Sioux City, Iowa - The Stars bounced back from a loss on Tuesday with a 2-1 win against Sioux City in the Tyson Events Center on Friday night.
The Musketeers opened the scoring midway through the first period when Brian Rigali deflected a shot from defenseman Ryan Zuhlsdorf at 10:08.
Stars defenseman Ryan Jones found the equalizer with 29 seconds left in the period - making it 1-1 at the first intermission.
Neither team scored in the second, leaving it 1-1 and giving the Musketeers a 23-22 shot advantage at the second intermission.
The Stars broke the tie in the third when Biagio Lerario took a shot of the faceoff and buried his own rebound to make it 2-1 at 7:55 of the period. The lead would hold to the final horn.
Stars goalie Patrik Virtanen finished with 29 saves.
