SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors, 120-104, at the Maverik Center Monday evening in Salt Lake's first home game.

Forward Paris Bass was one rebound shy of a double-double and led the Stars in points for the second game straight totaling a personal best 22 points and nine rebounds in 28 minutes of action. The Utah Jazz assignment player Ochai Agbaji recorded 20 points and three rebounds, adding onto the night's new career highs.

Four of the Star's starting five scored in double-digits, including Tyler Cook with 12 points on 5-of-5 from the field.

The Stars (2-4) jumped out shooting combatting the Warriors' defensive strategy and earning field goal percentage of 60 in the first quarter. However, Golden State Warriors assignment player, James Wiseman, hit a three to end the second quarter leaving Stars down, 40-24.

In a game that saw just one tie and four lead changes, Salt Lake City picked up speed in the second half cutting the deficit to nine before the Warriors pulled ahead for good at the end of the fourth quarter.

The Stars look to bounce back against the Santa Cruz Warriors in their back-to-back series tomorrow on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the Maverik Center with a similar tipoff at 7 p.m.
