Ontario Cruises Past Ignite For Seventh Straight Win

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (7-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, win their seventh consecutive game, defeating the G League Ignite (3-5), 115-95, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario on Monday night.

Two-way player Moussa Diabate led the Clippers with a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double in the victory.

LA Clippers assignee Jason Preston added a complete stat line of 17 points, six rebounds, six assists, and knocked down three triples.

Greg Brown, on assignment from the Portland Trailblazers, led the Ontario reserves with 17 points.

The G League Ignite were led by Leonard Miller's 19 points off the bench. Miller also grabbed seven boards.

It was Ontario from start to finish as the Clippers held the lead the entire game. Shooting 54 percent from the field (47-for-87), Ontario led by as much as 22 in the winning effort and outscored the Ignite in the paint (60-38) and in transition (26-2).

The Ignite, without top prospect and leading scorer Scoot Henderson, struggled from the field, shooting 36.5 percent (31-for-85) on the night.

Next up, the Clippers try to make it eight straight as they run it back tomorrow night against this same G League Ignite squad. The game tips off at 7:30 pm PST inside the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA.
