HANGIN' WITH MR. COOPER: Cleveland Charge guard Sharife Cooper was named the NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Nov.

14 through Sunday, Nov. 20. Cooper averaged 29.5 points and 6.8 assists in four games, highlighted by two 40-point performances. The former Auburn Tiger currently leads the NBA G League in scoring (27.9 ppg).

OUTSTANDING ONTARIO: The Ontario Clippers were the only team to go undefeated this week in Showcase Cup play. LA Clippers Two-Way player Moussa Diabate is averaging a near double-double of 18.6 points and 9.7 rebounds for the season. With the best record in the West Regional Pod, Diabate and the Clippers (7-1) will host Scoot Henderson (21.2 ppg, 5.8 apg) and G League Ignite (3-5) tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

LEADING CAPITANES: The Mexico City Capitanes continued their impressive start in the Showcase Cup by improving to 5-3 on the season. The team is led by forwards Gary Clark (22.4 ppg, 11.9 rpg), Bruno Caboclo (15.7 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.7 bpg) and guard Mason Jones (20.1 ppg, 5.8 apg). Mexico City visits the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (3-2) tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

Brooklyn Nets forward Yuta Watanabe has been one of the NBA's biggest surprises this season. Watanabe leads the league in three-point field goal percentage (57.1), earning praise from teammate Kevin Durant. On Nov. 17 in a 109-107 win against the Portland Trail Blazers, the former George Washington Colonial recorded his third-career 20-point game, totaling a season-high 20 points (career-high 5-of-7 3FG, season-high 5-of-6 FT) and seven rebounds in 29 minutes. Watanabe spent parts of three seasons in the G League with the Memphis Hustle and Raptors 905, appearing in 56 games and averaging 15.5 points and 6.7 rebounds.

Delaware Blue Coats guard Mac McClung finished with 44 points, seven assists and six rebounds in a 141-129 win over Raptors 905 on Nov. 18.

On Nov. 19, Memphis Grizzlies Two-Way player Kenneth Lofton Jr. recorded a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds for the Memphis Hustle in a 127-116 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Lofton Jr., who impressed during NBA2K23 Summer League 2022 play, is averaging 27.8 points and 9.8 rebounds in five games this season.

Iowa Wolves Two-Way player Luka Garza had consecutive 30-point performances in victories against the Wisconsin Herd on Nov. 19 & 20.
