Reno, Nevada - The Idaho Stampede defeated the Reno Bighorns 119-101, snapping a three game losing streak. The win keeps Idaho in the playoff race.

Kevin Murphy scored 18 points in the first quarter making all three field goal attempts from beyond the arc. The Stampede jumped out to a 15-point lead before taking a 40-28 advantage into the second quarter. On assignment from the Sacramento Kings, forward Royce White scored six points in the second quarter bringing Reno within seven points at halftime.

Scott Machado's nine points helped Idaho increase the lead in the third quarter and helped the Stampede to a 25-point advantage. After leading 90-70 entering the fourth quarter, Idaho never looked back, and ended the night with a 119-101 victory.

Kevin Murphy led all scorers with 33 points. It was Murphy's ninth game with 30 or more points since joining the Stampede on January 4. Idaho received 58 combined points off the bench from CJ Leslie (22), Scott Machado (20) and Darnell Lazare (16). Derrick Caracter posted his second double-double of the season with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Reno was led by KC Rivers' 26 points off the bench. Sundiata Gaines (14), Trent Lockett (12) and Mo Charlo (11) all scored in double figures for the Bighorns. Reno remains in first place in the West Division, leading Los Angeles by one game.

Reno (23-14) plays Austin on Tuesday, March 11 and the Stampede (21-18) will host Santa Cruz on Wednesday, March 12.
