Stampede Loses to Legends

BOISE, Idaho, March 15, 2012 - Reggie Larry had 19 points and 11 rebounds (six offensive), notching his second straight double-double, but the Idaho Stampede lost to the Texas Legends 94-92.

Antonio Daniels made a lay-up with 13.8 seconds to go to give the Legends the lead for good. Idaho (17-26) trailed by as many as 13, and trailed by six to begin the final quarter, but couldn't pull out the comeback win, despite shooting 52.4 percent in the fourth. Tony Bobbitt scored 16 points and Antoine Walker added 13 and five rebounds. Seth Tarver added 10 points and seven rebounds, while Mikki Moore had 10 points, six rebounds. The Stampede shot 47.9 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from the three-point line and made 18-of-25 free throws, but were out-rebounded 47-37.

Texas (22-19) was led by Anthony Vereen, who had 20 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Daniels finished with 17 points, nine assists and five rebounds. Dominique Johnson added 16, while Alando Tucker had 15.

The Stampede play next on Saturday in Los Angeles at 7:30 p.m. (MST) before returning home for two games against Fort Wayne on March 23 and 24.
