Dallas Mavericks Recall Sean Williams from Legends

Frisco, TX MAR. 16, 2012 - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have recalled forward Sean Williams from the Texas Legends, the teams' NBA Development League affiliate.

Williams (6-10, 235, Boston College) has played in 24 games for the Legends the season averaging 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in 28.0 minutes. Currently Williams is shooting 49.6% from the field while making a career best 76.6% of his free-throw attempts.

Williams ranks second in the NBA Development League in blocks and has three games of five or more rejections this season.

Sean Williams has appeared in seven games for the 2011-12 Dallas Mavericks registering 4.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.0 minutes per game.

The Legends (22-19) next play on Tuesday against the Maine Red Claws (17-24) at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas at 7:00PM CST.
