BISMARCK, North Dakota, January 16, 2011 - Antoine Walker scored a season-high 29 points, Jermareo Davidson had 22 points and 20 rebounds and Cedric Jackson had 17 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as the Stampede (7-15) beat the Dakota Wizards (7-17) 102-97 on Sunday afternoon. Idaho has won five out of its last seven games.
Jackson and Walker combined to score 19 combined points in the first quarter as the Stampede got out to a 29-18 lead, making five three-pointers in the stanza. Walker had 20 points by the half, and Davidson had collected 11 boards, six offensive, after two quarters.
Idaho outrebounded the Wizards 50-41. Seth Tarver had 14 points, 8 rebounds and five assists, while substitute Lance Hurdle scored 15 points. Willie Jenkins was the only other backup to score, making three free throws.
Dakota had three players score 20-plus points: Mike Hall (26 points, 13 rebounds), Chris Johnson (23 points, nine rebounds, four blocked shots), and Anthony Goods (21 points, seven rebounds, four assists).
The Stampede play the Wizards again tomorrow at 6 p.m. (MT).
