Stampede Acquires Jared Cunningham

Boise, Idaho (March 7, 2015) - The Idaho Stampede today announced the acquisition of guard Jared Cunningham in a trade with the Delaware 87ers, in exchange for forward Joel Wright, pending physicals from both players.
Cunningham (6-5, 188, Oregon State) has averaged 17.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.9 minutes per game this season. The San Leandro, Ca. native was selected with the 24th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers and traded to the Dallas Mavericks on draft night. One year later he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks. Cunningham has since spent some time with the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Clippers before joining Delaware on January 15, 2015.
Cunningham will wear uniform #15 for the Stampede.
