
Record Setting Game Leads the Bighorns to Win

RENO, NV - In front of a sold out crowd, David Stockton tied the NBA Development League record for most assists in a game with 22 assists, while Ra'Shad James shattered the Bighorns franchise record with 51 points. James' and Stockton's effort carried the Bighorns past the Texas Legends for the win, with a final score of 147-111.
James led the Bighorns with 51 points, six rebounds and three assists. David Stockton tied the NBA Development record with 22 assists, while adding 37 points and five rebounds. Cameron Ayers had 17 points, three rebounds and four assists. David Wear logged a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Mike James led the Legends with 22 points and seven assists. Booker Woodfox had a total of 21 points and three rebounds while Ricky Ledo also netted 21 points and added five rebounds.
James paced the Bighorns in the first quarter going 5-8 from the field totaling 10 points. Stockton followed James closely with nine points and three assists. Ayers added six points for the Bighorns in the quarter.
During the second, the Bighorns took control of the lead midway through the quarter and never surrendered it to the Legends. Stockton netted 15 points in the quarter and added six assists. James notched 13 points, two rebounds and two assists.
The Bighorns went 30-54 (55.6%) from the field in the first half, compared to the Legends 21-50 (42.0%).
Going into the locker room at the half, the Bighorns held a 78-55 lead over the Legends.
James tallied 13 points in the third quarter while Wear notched seven points and three rebounds. Stockton had eight assists in the quarter.
Ra'Shad James had his best quarter of the game during the fourth, netting 15 points and adding two rebounds. Stockton totaled seven points and five assists. Reggie Hearn went 2-2 from the field in the quarter netting six points and adding three rebounds.
Stockton finished the second half of the game with 13 assists.
The Bighorns return to the Reno Events Center Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. to face the Bakersfield Jam.
