March 7, 2015 - NBA G League (G League)
Westchester Knicks News Release

WHITE PLAINS, March 7, 2015 - The Westchester Knicks (9-30), the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, were officially eliminated from the 2015 NBA D-League playoffs with a 120-105 loss to the Delaware 87ers (18-21), the Philadelphia 76ers' affiliate.

Bad passes tripped up both sides in the first, with Delaware holding the lead the majority of the quarter. The teams had a combined 17 turnovers; eight for nine points for Delaware, and nine for seven points for Westchester. The Knicks made a run towards the end of the quarter, tying it up twice, but a DJ Seeley layup would seal the first in favor of Delaware.

The lead belonged to the 87ers for the rest of the half, who ran up a 14 point lead over Westchester early in the second quarter with Seeley nicking Westchester this time with a three pointer. Darnell Jackson turned it up for the Knicks with a pair of earth-rattling dunks but his team was unable to catch up, the 87ers leading 51-42 at the end of the first half.

The Knicks had a good third quarter, but Delaware had an even better one, racking up 39 points to Westchester's 32. Seeley continued to shine for the 87ers with 13 points in the third. Durrell Summers came off the bench to add an impressive 10 for Westchester, but the 87ers held on to their lead heading into the final twelve minutes.

Though the Knicks beat out the 87ers in the fourth quarter by a point, the damage was done for Westchester, who ultimately fell to the 87ers by a 15 point margin.

Durrell Summers came off the bench to pace Westchester with 19 points, adding six rebounds and two assists. Ben Strong posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Darnell Jackson finished with 16 points, six rebounds, and four rebounds.

DJ Seeley led all scorers with 22 points, also providing seven assists for Delaware. Maalik Wayns produced 21 points, seven assists, and three assists. Kenny Hall contributed 18 points, Victor Rudd finished with 13.
