Legends Trampled by Bighorns

RENO, NV - The Texas Legends traveled to Reno for their second matchup against the Bighorns. Despite three double-double performances from the Legends' roster, the Bighorns controlled the game, easily defeating the Legends 147-111 to split the season series.
Ricky Ledo got off to a hot start shooting 80% in the first quarter to lead Texas. After nine lead changes and five tie-ups the Legends found themselves down by three heading into the second. The two teams were evenly matched in every category with the Legends taking the lead behind the arc at 62% to Reno's 33%. The second quarter began a different story. The Bighorns refused to relinquish their three-point advantage forging a 45-point performance to front the Legends by 23 at the half.
Ra'Shad James had his second consecutive 13-point quarter in the third as the Bighorns continued to pull away from the Legends' rally attempts. Texas grabbed 11 defensive boards, but went scoreless from outside to head into the final minutes at a 31-point deficit. James continued to put on a show for Reno in the fourth, leading all scorers with 15 as Reno finished the 36-point victory in front of their home crowd.
Mike James led the Legends with 22 points but Booker Woodfox and Ricky Ledo followed closely with 21 apiece. Jarrid Famous (15 points, 11 rebounds), Justin Jackson (12 points, 11 rebounds) and Eric Griffin (12 points, 10 rebounds) each added double-doubles to round off the Legends double-digit scoring.
Ra'Shad James had a season-high 51 points for the Bighorns. David Stockton added a season-high 22 assists and 37 points, going 7-of-9 from behind the arc. David Wear (15 points, 11 rebounds) and Sim Bhullar (11 points, 14 rebounds) also added double-doubles for Reno.
