
St. John's Maple Leafs Set to Host 1st Annual Corporate Cup

The St. John's Maple Leafs announced today that they will host the 1st Annual St. John's Maple Leafs Corporate Cup this Saturday, February 22nd at Mile One Stadium. The three-on-three hockey tournament is open to all the Maple Leafs corporate partners for the 2002-03 season. The tournament will run from 12:00-7:00pm with the "Corporate Cup" being presented to the winning team in Caps Pub.
"The intention of this tournament is one way for the St. John's Maple Leafs to say thank you to our loyal partners for supporting the St. John's Maple Leafs. As well it will allow them to reward their employees and network with other supporters of the team", said Chris Schwartz, Sr. Manager of Hockey Operations.
The Maple Leafs play the Saint John Flames Friday, February 21 (Game time is 7:30pm, NT) and the Manitoba Moose Sunday, February 23 (Game time is 4:00PM, NT). Both games will be broadcast LIVE on Radio NF (930AM) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca. The team returns to Mile One Stadium Friday, February 28th to face the Providence Bruins.
