St. John's Maple Leafs Prepare for 10th Annual Wives' Charity Carnival

Come One! Come All! To the 10th Annual Wives Charity Carnival!

The 10th Annual Wives' Charity Carnival will take place on Sunday, March 7, 2004 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Mile One Stadium. Tickets are available at Mile One Stadium's box office. Admission is $2 for Children under 12, $4 for Adults, and $10 for a Family of four.

The Calder Cup, the American Hockey League's symbol of supremacy, will be in St. John's from March 5 –7 as it tours the AHL. Have your picture taken with the cup for a unique "magazine cover".

On the main stage the Raffle Table will feature NHL & AHL Autographed memorabilia. Featured items this year includes autographed jerseys from Ed Belfour-Toronto, Roman Turek-Calgary, Jason Allison-Los Angeles, Scott Stevens-New Jersey, Nathan Dempsey-Chicago Blackhawks, a team autographed Dallas Stars jersey and a team autographed Phoenix Coyotes stick, plus much more!

The St. John's Maple Leafs Players and wives will be front and centre all afternoon long! Get your photo taken with your favorite player in the penalty box or on the Zamboni! Get autographs! Play bubble hockey or PS2 with members of the team! We also have face painting, balloons and great carnival food!

All monies raised go to the Leafs Foundation in support of local charities. The 2003-04 Leafs Foundation grant recipients who will benefit directly include:
