Monarchs Release Milam From PTO

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Friday released defenseman Troy Milam from his professional tryout agreement. Milam, 23, has appeared in five games with the Monarchs this season, recording one point (1-0=1) and zero penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 188-pound rookie from Lake Orion, Michigan, has appeared in 51 games with the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators this season, recording 30 points (6-24=30) and 36 penalty minutes. Milam spent the last four years at Ferris State University, recording 79 points (21-58=79) and 217 penalty minutes in 155 games.

The Monarchs host the Utah Grizzles at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday, February 28 at 7:35 p.m. The Providence Bruins are also scheduled to come to town for a 4:05 p.m. face-off with the Monarchs on Sunday, February 29.
