
Squirrels and Curve Postponed on Tuesday

Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
Richmond, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels game with the Altoona Curve, scheduled for Tuesday night at The Diamond has been postponed due to persistent rain showers. The game will be played as part of a doubleheader on Friday, July 17th. The doubleheader will begin at 5:35 p.m. and will consist of two seven-inning games. The Diamond gates will open at 5 p.m.
Fans holding tickets to Tuesday's postponed game may redeem them for tickets to any remaining regular season home date. Tickets must be exchanged at The Diamond box office, and are based upon availability.
The finale of the now shortened two-game series is scheduled for 10:35 a.m. at The Diamond on Wednesday morning. RHP Chris Stratton (0-0, 3.60) makes the start for Richmond against RHP Angel Sanchez (0-0, 0.00) for the Curve. The Flying Squirrels Pregame Warmup begins at 10:00 a.m. on Fox Sports 910 and FoxSportsRichmond.com.
