
Curve-Squirrels Rained out on Tuesday Night

RICHMOND, Va. - Constant rain in the Richmond area forced the postponement of Tuesday night's game between the Altoona Curve and Richmond Flying Squirrels at The Diamond. It is the first rainout of the season for both clubs.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on July 17 when the Curve make their next trip into Richmond July 16-19. The game on July 17 will begin at 5:35 p.m. and will consist of two seven-inning games.
Altoona and Richmond will play the series finale as scheduled at 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday morning at The Diamond. RHP Chris Stratton (0-0, 3.60) will start for Richmond while the Curve have yet to confirm a starter.
Airtime on ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network is scheduled for 10:20 a.m.
