BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League Affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, dropped Friday night's matchup with the College Park Skyhawks, 119-107, on HBCU Night at Legacy Arena.
Two-way guard Dereon Seabron paced Birmingham (5-18) in scoring for the eighth time in the regular season with 22, while Kelan Martin poured in 21. Jordan Swing scored 17 points off the bench, all in the first half of the contest.
College Park (10-11) was led in the scoring column by an Armoni Brooks 30 piece. Chris Silva's 23 and Brandon Williams' 22 followed up Brooks' effort. The Skyhawks shot 54.3% from the field and 47.4% from three-point range on Friday.
Birmingham was outscored 34-23 in the fourth quarter and is now 1-11 in regular season games in which it is outscored in the final period.
The Squadron hit the road for a Thursday game at Austin with tip-off set for 7 p.m. from the H-E-B Center. The game can be seen locally on My68 WABM or nationally on ESPN+.
