SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors (11-9) beat the Austin Spurs (6-15), 114-105, Friday night at Kaiser Permanente Arena.

All five Sea Dubs starters scored in double figures tonight. Guard Jerome Robinson led the way with 25 points, and added seven rebounds and six assists. Forward Lester Quinones notched a double-double, finishing the night with 22 points and 11 rebounds and center Jayce Johnson also had a double-double tonight, closing out with 17 rebounds and 10 points.

Guard Brandon Randolph led the Spurs with 35 points and added seven rebounds. Forward Julian Champagnie followed with 28 points and seven rebounds and center Jordan Hall finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

The Warriors took an early lead to open the first quarter, however the Spurs kept the contest close, with Santa Cruz's lead never growing past eight points. Santa Cruz held their lead and took the quarter, 21-17. The Sea Dubs extended their lead early in the second quarter to as much as 23 points and ultimately ended the half with an 18-point advantage 56-38.

Santa Cruz maintained the lead throughout the third quarter, however the Spurs closed the gap to just nine points with two minutes remaining in the frame. The Warriors offense responded to close out the quarter with an 88-73 advantage heading into the final quarter. Austin brought the score to within six points midway through the fourth quarter, however the Warriors held on to beat the Spurs, 114-105.

The Santa Cruz Warriors are back in action at Kaiser Permanente Arena on Saturday night for a matchup with the Salt Lake City Stars at 7pm PST.
