
Spurs, Rampage and UPS Lend a Helping Yam

The San Antonio Spurs, Rampage and UPS are encouraging all San Antonians to donate to the 12th annual "Lend a Helping Yam" drive benefiting the annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner for senior citizens.
Outside the SBC Center's East Entrance on the Northeast Plaza, during the Spurs vs. Miami game on Friday, November 12, the Spurs vs. New York Knicks game on Tuesday, November 16, or the Rampage vs. Milwaukee Admirals game on Thursday, November 11, there will be a UPS truck to collect all donations.
The first 100 fans of each night who donate 10 or more cans of yams will each receive two free tickets to an upcoming Spurs game and two tickets to an upcoming Rampage game. Tickets given at this event will be for future game dates.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner. These generous donations will help more than 25,000 local senior and underprivileged citizens who annually attend the event.
