
Bruins drop heartbreaker to Norfolk

Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins continued their four-game road trip on Friday night in Norfolk, Virginia, dropping a hard-fought heartbreaker to the Admirals, 1-0. The game was evenly played throughout, with the Admirals getting 34 shots on goal, and the Bruins 32. The Bruins are in sixth place in the Atlantic Division with their 2-4-1-1 record (6 points).
Bruin goaltender Hannu Toivonen stopped 33 shots in taking the loss and is now 2-4-0 on the season.
The Bruins continue their road trip when they take on the Hershey Bears on Saturday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 7 at 5:00 p.m. The action for both games will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550, and the team website, www.providencebruins.com.
The Bruins return home to host the Bears on Friday, November 12 at 7:05 p.m. Fans will receive a free Providence Bruins magnet schedule, courtesy of Shaw's Supermarkets.
