Today's Game: Tonight's intra-divisional contest against the Syracuse Crunch opens a three-game homestand for the San Antonio Rampage...The Rampage picked up five of eight possible points on their road trip last week and raised their winning percentage to .500 with a 4-4-2-0 record, placing them T-2nd in the West Division three points behind division leading Milwaukee.
Against the Syracuse Crunch: Today's game marks the first of two meetings between the Rampage and Syracuse in the 2004-2005 season...The game also marks the third ever meeting with each team winning on the opponents ice in 03-04...The Rampage went 3-5 (60.0 %) on the power play against Syracuse last year while the Crunch went 2-10 (20.0 %) on their advantages...Syracuse finished 2003-04 in 2nd place in the North Division 38-25-10-7 (93 pts.)...The Rampage finished 6th in the West 30-42-8-0 (68 pts.).

HE SHOOTS...GOALTENDER SAVE!!!: Tonight's game will feature two of the top five goaltenders in respect to total saves. For Syracuse, Pascal Leclaire leads the AHL with 231 saves in eight games. Meanwhile, Travis Scott is fifth with 193 saves in seven games for the Rampage.
ELITE PASSING: Center Stephen Weiss is currently tied for fourth in the AHL in assists with seven. Overall, Weiss, who is leading the Rampage, is tied for 14th in scoring with 3-7-10 totals in 10 games. In 20 career AHL games, Weiss has scored 19 points on nine goals and ten assists.
NOVEMBER HOCKEY: In their first two seasons the Rampage have gone a combined 8-6-7-2 in the month of November accounting for 25 points in 23 games for a .543 winning percentage. In 2002-03, San Antonio went 4-3-5-2 and followed that with a 4-3-2 record in 2003-04.
GREAT SCOTT!!!: Travis Scott is currently the active-leader in AHL career shutouts. He has 20 in 266 career games while Maxime Ouellet is in second place with 18. Scott's last shutout came against Cincinnati on March 28, 2004 (2-0) at the SBC Center...The Rampage goalie set a franchise record by saving 56 shots in a 4-2 victory over Cincinnati last season (Oct. 16, 2003)

Stephen Weiss lit the lamp with 6:40 to play in the game, on an assist from Juraj Kolnik, to even the score at one and Travis Scott saved over 95 percent of the shots taken against him, but Simon Gamache scored twice to lead the Milwaukee Admirals to an overtime victory against the San Antonio Rampage. Scott stopped 39 of 41 shots, four of five in overtime, but his goaltending counterpart, Brian Finley, sent away 18 of 19 including both Rampage shots in the extra period. Gamache scored on a breakaway goal at 3:59 into overtime.
